    Mallecha means meat eater. This was said by Srila Prabhupada.. what about ksatriyas who are in the mode of passion. They also eat meat. Just like Kingsley class who are considered as royal. Are they too mallecha? This is my question. Please reply and dissipate my ignorance. Haribol..

      Madhudvisa dasa Hare Krishna Reena. Kastriyas do not eat meat generally. It is a rare thing. They have to learn how to fight. So they may go to the jungles and kill a tiger or something like that. And in some cases they may cook and eat the animals they kill in such cases. But most do not eat meat at all. Kingly class does not eat meat generally. Like for example if anyone purchases meat from a slaughterhouse and eats he is certainly a melecha.       Madhudvisa dasa Actually they don't 'cook and eat' they offer the animal in sacrifice and then may accept some of the remnants of the sacrifice. But this sort of thing is not going on today. So today anyone who eats meat is a melecha for sure even if they may be posing as a ksatriya and using this as an excuse to eat meat, they are not ksatriya actually, they are less than sudra...
