About Me
I am seeking a devotee associate or partner for association, preaching, and growing in Krishna consciousness: an aspiring devotee of Krishna who is, like me, serious about walking the path directly back to Krishna. I am Prabhupada-centered, but not connected with any particular organization, either ISKCON or others. But am very familiar with Bhaktivedanta Swami’s life and teachings, and he is my number one hero hands down. I am right now located on the big island of hawaii. I am not necessarily seeking someone in my location, because I don't think there are many devotees here I would match up with. Anyone/anywhere in the world is welcomed to respond, and we could begin by email, phone, etc., and take it from there. More about myself: I’m on the one side a quiet, reserved, contemplative type, and very serious about attaining Krishna and about reaching people with Krishna consciousness. But I’m also by character an impassioned person with a lot of emotion, fire, and creativity, and sharp sense of humor. However, that does not mean I am rajasic. I do not have any material plans to speak of, and no desire to work hard for material goals. The material conception of life doesn't make any sense to me, thanks to Srila Prabhuapada. Like many devotees, I have serious health challenges, and eat a very austere diet based on Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the medicine that Krishna gave us, and teaches us the proper bodily foundation for spiritual development, so I follow it in all things. I am a steadfast and unwavering adherent of the Vedas and accept all the Vedas without question. The Srimad Bhagavatam is my favorite book hands down and I love to churn the nectar of Srimad Bhagavatam with other devotees. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone I can do that with now, and wish I did.
I am earth conscious and live a natural lifestyle in all things, and Srila Prabhupada’s vision of self-sufficient Vedic farm communities is a great inspiration to me. I have never been satisfied to live my life simply for my own benefit, and am very concerned about the well-being and future of the citizens of the planet, and know that reaching them with Krishna consciousness is the key to this.
